Unfortunately we have had a rash of bad luck in our home and time has seem to gotten away from me. Before I knew it the holiday was upon me and I somehow managed to get a few cards done. <br /><br />I made a shaker card with this cutie Tilda with Fir stamp from Magnolia, along with the tree stamp in the background.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8peW4JAVlBY/Tv3R1Xh_LCI/AAAAAAAAAsg/Mke95WVgPjM/s1600/tilda%2Bfir4.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5691936218846014498" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8peW4JAVlBY/Tv3R1Xh_LCI/AAAAAAAAAsg/Mke95WVgPjM/s320/tilda%2Bfir4.JPG" /></a> The snowflakes are Quickutz die with pearl brads. Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend! I was inspired to make this from a project by Melissa Phillips. If you love Shabby Chic, then you must check out her <a href="http://lilybeanpaperie.typepad.com/">blog</a>. The challenge this week over at <a href="http://simonsaysstampandshow.blogspot.com/">Simon Says Stamp and Show</a> is tags so I decided to finally make my own version. I placed them in a shadow box to display on the wall. <br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 302px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5638156824018113858" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-13-mSQSKmA8/Tj7BwluLVUI/AAAAAAAAAsA/uvzJ6eQIM6k/s320/P1010241.JPG" />The papers, resin embellishment, word rub ons, white lace trim and chandelier drop are all from the Melissa Frances 5th Avenue line.<br /><br /><div><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RqKj2tK_LWA/Tj67wo5HEEI/AAAAAAAAAro/mAYwvCJ4oLE/s1600/P1010236.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 216px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5638150227799511106" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RqKj2tK_LWA/Tj67wo5HEEI/AAAAAAAAAro/mAYwvCJ4oLE/s320/P1010236.JPG" /></a> The butterflies wer cut out from some scraps of Prima's Recollections line. The lace and heart button on Tag 1 are from Joann Fabrics. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 178px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5638153561494975298" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RpnxO9cqs_4/Tj6-yr4C80I/AAAAAAAAAr4/F8WjtyVK3xs/s320/P1010238.JPG" />I used a fram die from Sizzix, Martha Stewart punch and a brad from My Mind's Eye for Tag 2. </div><br /><div><br /><div><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-OneXzoEVSF0/Tj67fap89bI/AAAAAAAAArY/9AtKYz74xvI/s1600/P1010239.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 186px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5638149931920061874" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-OneXzoEVSF0/Tj67fap89bI/AAAAAAAAArY/9AtKYz74xvI/s320/P1010239.JPG" /></a> Some Maya Road black organza rose ribbon, white flower ribbon, Melissa Frances pearls and 7 Gypsies tape on Tag 3.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-C1bg4n2rwtw/Tj67aF1bznI/AAAAAAAAArQ/sIeAEi6mbbU/s1600/P1010237.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 165px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5638149840431730290" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-C1bg4n2rwtw/Tj67aF1bznI/AAAAAAAAArQ/sIeAEi6mbbU/s320/P1010237.JPG" /></a> Thanks for stopping by!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></div></div></div></div></div></div>Robynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12874985579317077781noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7205217420326550197.post-2669275573959653422011-07-30T20:45:00.004-04:002011-07-30T21:19:27.962-04:00Canvas Layout<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-M5ri_RbXR-s/TjStTdXgvMI/AAAAAAAAAq8/TBnq2y1hJ0g/s1600/P1010233.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 262px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635319583559695554" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-M5ri_RbXR-s/TjStTdXgvMI/AAAAAAAAAq8/TBnq2y1hJ0g/s320/P1010233.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div><br /><div>Quick post tonight. I made this a couple week's ago for my daughter and am just getting around to posting it. This was my first time working with canvas. The 12x12 canvas was part of the July Kit from The Flying Unicorn Store, along with the Tattered Angels screen. The kit also included some glimmer mist. I will definitely have to work on my technique with the glimmer mist. My first attempt with the canvas did not go well and I thought the canvas was most likely going in the trash. I used the pink ink that also came in the kit and went over the screen and then used some Tim Holtz to add some black. Overall, I thought it came out okay. I got to use some of my new Sizzix dies. I added some Webster's Bloomers and Maya Road Zipper Trim for the flowers. </div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635318266781190018" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hB3jAHIYrko/TjSsGz_DR4I/AAAAAAAAAq0/2PLdFIJQz-c/s320/P1010235.JPG" /></div><br /><br /><div>Thanks for stopping by. I was so inspired by the lovely layouts over at the Flying Unicorn Forum, that I decided to make one myself. It's probably been close to 10 years since I scrapbooked anything and they were much more basic (and my kids were much smaller...lol). You will definitely be seeing more layouts from me. I really enjoyed making this. <br /><br />The paper is from Pink Paislee's Butterfly Garden and was in my July kit from the Flying Unicorn store. I just got this great butterfly by Sizzix and thought it would be perfect with this paper.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Qicdndu2SB4/Thppqf52qRI/AAAAAAAAAqg/Hkgc5yTXU_k/s1600/P1010226.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5627926863192434962" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Qicdndu2SB4/Thppqf52qRI/AAAAAAAAAqg/Hkgc5yTXU_k/s320/P1010226.JPG" /></a> I bought some cheese cloth a while ago to use for my card making but hadn't gotten around to using it yet. So I decided it was time to pull it out and try it on something. Here's a close up below. <br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-C2IilcrGoEQ/ThppqDkwyNI/AAAAAAAAAqY/b_MsssQBLSE/s1600/P1010229.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5627926855587776722" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-C2IilcrGoEQ/ThppqDkwyNI/AAAAAAAAAqY/b_MsssQBLSE/s320/P1010229.JPG" /></a> The lace and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Thanks for stopping by!</div></div>Robynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12874985579317077781noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7205217420326550197.post-91216035736927692542011-07-08T18:43:00.006-04:002011-07-09T09:42:45.420-04:00Flying Unicorn Shimmer & Shine<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-99ezwuI53Ag/TheI_brQbpI/AAAAAAAAAqQ/TI27qU1zvw0/s1600/P1010199.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 286px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5627116882765049490" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-99ezwuI53Ag/TheI_brQbpI/AAAAAAAAAqQ/TI27qU1zvw0/s320/P1010199.JPG" /></a> Happy Friday! The Flying Unicorn had their first blog hop over the 4th of July weekend and WOW...what inspiring projects. If you're haven't been over to the <a href="http://www.flyingunicornstore.com/">Flying Unicorn store</a>, you must check it out. Alda has a wonderful selection in her store. She offers monthly scrapbooking kits, which include an "off the page" project. I found some time to play with my June kit and this chipboard album, exclusive to the Flying Unicorn, was included in the kit. Also in my kit were these fabulous Webster's Pages from their Ladies and Gents line. Here's a close-up of the embellishments.<br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QVI6ys_aqww/TheI_C1eI4I/AAAAAAAAAqI/8w3t7ZgihXQ/s1600/P1010200.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5627116876097004418" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QVI6ys_aqww/TheI_C1eI4I/AAAAAAAAAqI/8w3t7ZgihXQ/s320/P1010200.JPG" /></a> I made the white flower and white rose bud using some Melissa Frances crepe paper with some stickles on the edges for some added shimmer. The white resin ornate corner, pearls and the chandelier drops are also from Melissa Frances. Some Webster's Bloomers, black leaf and ticket were also used. That beautiful cameo button was also included in my kit.<br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZBQmJY0Dxt0/TheI-sqebdI/AAAAAAAAAqA/dhpKGp_G5qo/s1600/P1010204.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5627116870145306066" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZBQmJY0Dxt0/TheI-sqebdI/AAAAAAAAAqA/dhpKGp_G5qo/s320/P1010204.JPG" /></a> I used the postcard stamp from Whimsy Stamps and ripped it in half. Sizzix postage frame and Tim Holtz Baroque and Mini Baroque dies. The flower is from Maya Road.<br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-POo6M09uPkI/TheI-JV87SI/AAAAAAAAAp4/Fc7V6kd2T7g/s1600/P1010206.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 186px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5627116860663983394" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-POo6M09uPkI/TheI-JV87SI/AAAAAAAAAp4/Fc7V6kd2T7g/s320/P1010206.JPG" /></a> I added some Maya Road organza rose ribbon to the top. Something a little different to share today. I've been in Copic coloring funk and can't seem to color anything right lately. I've been busy though with my new obsession...making chipboard albums and some altered art. The <a href="http://simonsaysstampandshow.blogspot.com/2011/06/simon-says-stamp-and-show-word.html">Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge </a>this week is "Show a Word". I bought this paper mache letter "B" last week at Joann's Fabrics and immediately thought...7 Gypsies Lille collection would be perfect for this. I cut up several different sheets and glued them on with Zip Dry, then used some Martha Stewart Decoupage to cover it with after I did some sanding on the edges and VP distress ink.<br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 211px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 340px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5625179228193030754" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HqD-Ui91He8/ThCmtF5aAmI/AAAAAAAAApI/uEhmq2aOZaQ/s320/P1010190.JPG" /><br />I added this cute little clipboard I found at AC Moore. Used some distress inks and added some 7 Gypsies and Tim Holtz embellies. The clock is a Tim Holtz stamp, stamped in Barn Door and covered with Glossy Accents. The tag desgin was made by accident. I meant to distress with my sponge applicator but picked up the stamp pad instead and pressed down before I realized what I was doing (Watching TV and crafting will do this). Well I just decided to go with it and keep pressing the stamp pad down in random spots.<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 149px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 179px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5625179236752562834" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6gAzCua4RcE/ThCmtlyKGpI/AAAAAAAAApQ/F5CWNx3S2Ns/s320/P1010189.JPG" /><br />Some more views.<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 242px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 286px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5625179225788462898" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qN1aCWu8k9I/ThCms88HNzI/AAAAAAAAApA/eQX45H7gANg/s320/P1010193.JPG" /><br /><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5625178799448249026" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gor1NGvCgHw/ThCmUIsr0sI/AAAAAAAAAoo/KHeh02sFTuI/s320/P1010191.JPG" /></div><br /><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 238px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 280px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5625179221415986370" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PqZpFayeR1o/ThCmsspohMI/AAAAAAAAAo4/C_ea6WyWAZY/s320/P1010192.JPG" /></div><br /><br /><div>This was so much fun to make. I plan to do more like this. I hope you enjoyed it. Today was a long, long day at work and I just wanted to get home and let my mind go blank. Well as walked up to the door, there propped inside was a package. When I opened it up, a smile spread across my face and a feeling of sheer happiness. It was my Webster's Pages Warehouse sale packages. For $25, you got at least $75 worth of product. I can't begin to tell you how much stuff was in each box (I was greedy and bought 2). The sale may still be going on, so if you like Webster's Pages, go check out their website. <br /><div><br /><div><br /><div>Now on to my card. The <a href="http://littledarlingschallenges.blogspot.com/">Little Darlings Challenge Blog </a>is hosting their first challenge and the theme is summer.</div><br /><div></div><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 318px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5616407735246231570" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-goCOe_KSutM/TfF9FAUbmBI/AAAAAAAAAog/EnnJkpV3yjw/s320/P1010180.JPG" />I used the adorable Little Darlings Up, Up and Away stamp. You can find it <a href="http://www.lovetostamp.com/cartgenie/prodList.asp?pg=2&scat=24&sflag=0&brand=&pgSize=&pgMode=&pgSort=0">here</a>. I also used the Post Card Stamp from Whimsy Stamps, which is also available at the Love to Stamp store. Ticket and Enjoy the Journey stamp are from Tim Holt'z Artistry set.<br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 276px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5616407726561112418" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hEEUOJbPzm8/TfF9Ef9vMWI/AAAAAAAAAoY/aoM1BzwKJaE/s320/P1010184.JPG" />The hot air balloon paper is from Webster's Pages digital line. Some raffia lace and green seam binding ribbon finish off the card. The image is colored with copics.<br /><br /><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 290px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5616406666994326514" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4s0w8MnvOpA/TfF8G0xVG_I/AAAAAAAAAoA/Y2ltrIo4Al0/s320/P1010187.JPG" />Thanks for stopping by. <br /></div></div></div></div>Robynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12874985579317077781noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7205217420326550197.post-57309434452682060142011-06-03T11:46:00.006-04:002011-06-03T12:16:36.583-04:00Little Darlings Contest & CardTGIF! Wow what a week it's been. My job has been so crazy this week. There was a bright spot though. I was lucky enough to win the blog candy prize over at <a href="http://littledarlingschallenges.blogspot.com/">The Little Darlings Challenge</a>, which is sponsored by the <a href="http://www.lovetostamp.com/">Love to Stamp Store.</a> Angie is so generous to offer up such a fantastic prize. It was packed full of goodies. She is also giving away more. All you need to do is enter a project using one of her adorable Little Darlings stamps. Go over to the <a href="http://littledarlingschallenges.blogspot.com/">The Little Darlings Challeng blog </a>and check it out. <br /><div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Now on to my card. This Little Darling is called "So Big". I decided to make a father's day card for my son to give to his dad. I so prefer the cute & girly type of cards so I hope this one is not too cutesy for him.</div></div><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 307px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5614023016602464370" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VZcnoCFyL80/TekEMHF08HI/AAAAAAAAAnw/lw_VdOcBaNo/s320/LD_Dad.jpg" /></div><br /><div>The papers are from Webster's Pages digital line, that I resized to fit the card. I resized one of their postcards which you can also get in their digital collection and used it on the inside of the card. The Family background stamp is from Fiskars. A Martha Stewart punch and Magnolia die for the green accents. <br /><br /><br /><div></div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5614022798627148546" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VCUa86AdHrw/TekD_bEdkwI/AAAAAAAAAno/fLXrUukQOhM/s320/P1010165.JPG" /><br />Here's the inside.<br /><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 317px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5614022362838534802" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rO_FlK88fmo/TekDmDoXCpI/AAAAAAAAAng/P4XyxzMT8p4/s320/P1010167.JPG" /></div>Thanks for stopping by. I'm back today with another card to share. The challenge over at <a href="http://magnoliadownunderchallenges.blogspot.com/">Magnolia Down Under </a>is to use your favorite things. Tilda Blowing Bubbles was my first Magnolia Stamp purchase. It was seeing this stamp used on a card that started my love of Magnolia stamps. She is definately my favorite and I'm not sure why I never inked her up until now. I used my circle nestabilities to cut her, along with the scallop circles.<br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Q3hUdw2nJOo/TdR3Ko20pXI/AAAAAAAAAnM/xBa6d0GBGEk/s1600/P1010143.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 287px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5608238460632868210" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Q3hUdw2nJOo/TdR3Ko20pXI/AAAAAAAAAnM/xBa6d0GBGEk/s320/P1010143.JPG" /></a> I used some Webster's Pages from their digital line. Their entire line has fast become of favorite of mine. You will be seeing it a lot. I used some of their bloomers ribbon in celery. Another favorite I love seeing on cards is raffia lace. I just wish they would sell it over here in the U.S. The postage sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps. I finally used my Tattered Florals die from Tim Holtz. The challenge over at<a href="http://simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/"> Simon Says Stamp </a>is Sparkle and Shine, so I added some glimmer mist to the flower and the image. The paper I stamped on is Cryogen Irridescent paper which also has some sparkle to it (I tried to get it to show in the pictures...but no luck).<br /><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5608238450486139394" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rY6zsQA74_0/TdR3KDDp2gI/AAAAAAAAAm8/KO7tVMBoSnY/s320/P1010149.JPG" /></div><br /><div>Here's a close up of Tilda blowing her bubbles.</div><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JvI8zS0KrU4/TdR3KoUtJbI/AAAAAAAAAnE/4eD4g25Zz8M/s1600/P1010147.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5608238460489770418" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JvI8zS0KrU4/TdR3KoUtJbI/AAAAAAAAAnE/4eD4g25Zz8M/s320/P1010147.JPG" /></a>Other Challenges I'd like to enter this in:</div><br /><div><a href="http://7kidschallengeblog.blogspot.com/">7 Kids College Fund</a> - Circles</div><br /><div><a href="http://bythecuteandgirly.blogspot.com/">By the Cute and Girly </a>- Anything Goes</div><br /><div><a href="http://creativecardcrew.blogspot.com/">Creative Card Crew</a> - Cute and Girly</div><br /><div>Thanks for stopping by. </div><br /><div><br /><br /></div>Robynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12874985579317077781noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7205217420326550197.post-72784991667782332932011-05-18T11:45:00.005-04:002011-05-18T12:07:59.106-04:00You Hold the Key<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xKb_IEdKEQ0/TdPqYCUXImI/AAAAAAAAAm0/sMk01du0qmA/s1600/P1010153.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 262px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5608083659666432610" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xKb_IEdKEQ0/TdPqYCUXImI/AAAAAAAAAm0/sMk01du0qmA/s320/P1010153.JPG" /></a> Happy Wednesday everyone! We're half way through the week. I have an easel card to share today. The challenge over at <a href="http://magnoliastamplovers.blogspot.com/">Magnolia Stamp Lovers </a>is "Graduation or Congratulations". This is for a friend's daughter who is graduationg high school.<br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GkttGLjuT4E/TdPqX4TWAGI/AAAAAAAAAms/Fav48Bhpatw/s1600/P1010156.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5608083656977809506" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GkttGLjuT4E/TdPqX4TWAGI/AAAAAAAAAms/Fav48Bhpatw/s320/P1010156.JPG" /></a><br />I used some of the digital papers from Webster's Pages on the front of the card and on the tag. The beautifu organza rose ribbon on the tag and inside the card is from Maya Road. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Tilda was colored with Copics and the script background is a stamp from Glitz. Throw in some Tim Holtz film strip ribbon and adage ticket and...Voila.<br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-x5mjPUVqxw0/TdPqBmPTWGI/AAAAAAAAAmk/93QhElTzLNo/s1600/P1010155.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5608083274171897954" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-x5mjPUVqxw0/TdPqBmPTWGI/AAAAAAAAAmk/93QhElTzLNo/s320/P1010155.JPG" /></a> Here's a close up of the tag using a corner cut from some of the Webster's Pages. I also used the "I believe I can fly" stamp from Magnolia and added some lace and twine (Hope it's enough lace for the Just Magnolia and Bunny Zoe's challenges).</div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Challenges I'd like to enter this in:</div><br /><div><a href="http://magnoliastamplovers.blogspot.com/">Magnolia Stamp Lovers </a>- Graduation/Congratulations</div><br /><div><a href="http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/">Just Magnolia </a>- Lacey</div><br /><div><a href="http://bunnyzoescrafts.blogspot.com/2011/05/challenge-12-lace.html">Bunny Zoe's </a>- Lacey</div><br /><div><a href="http://creativecardcrew.blogspot.com/">Creative Card Crew</a> - Cute and Girly</div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Thanks for stopping by. Hope everyone is enjoying better weather than the chilly rain we're having here in Philadelphia. I've been dying to use these beautiful stamps with Tilda and Edwin and the Rose Trellis. The challenge over at Magnolia-licious Highlites is to use both Tilda and Edwin on your card. I've colored them with Copics and added some glossy accent to the flowers on Edwin and Tilda. I also added some perfect pearls to Tilda's hair and her earrings. I managed to get my hands on a couple rolls of that raffia lace. It's so difficult to find over here in the states. <br /><br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 303px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5598754648100807506" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UU3Pv5mhjpQ/TbLFsGCdo1I/AAAAAAAAAlU/ksGflDkfCrI/s320/wed3.jpg" /><br />The beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I can't wait for the weekend. I have a quick post tonight. The <a href="http://totallytilda.blogspot.com/">Totally Tilda Challenge </a>right now is "Tilda All Over the World". I had colored Japanese Tilda and the Magnolia Tree but just couldn't find the right paper to go with it. Well, I somehow stumbled upon the Webster's Page website and I saw they had a digital section. You can buy their paper collections as digital downloads. The hardest part was choosing what collections I wanted to try first. This is from the Postcards from Paris collection. The great thing about the digital papers is you can resize them to fit your cards so the entire page fits. I chose to keep it simple because I didn't want to cover up that gorgeous design on the paper. </div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><div>I must have been living under a rock because I've just discovered their papers and already placed an order over at Two Peas in a Pod (their having a sale on some of their Webster's stuff). I've also been dying to try some of their bloomers ribbon. I have to say they are super speedy over at Two Peas, cuz my box of goodies arrived today and I can't wait to play.</div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><div>Thanks for stopping by.</div>Robynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12874985579317077781noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7205217420326550197.post-20192648813365222902011-04-17T17:30:00.003-04:002011-04-20T23:24:11.574-04:00Easter Bunny Tilda<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OLIkpcrAlfY/TatcT14HjdI/AAAAAAAAAk8/_2k12RR-rX8/s1600/easter%2Btilda2.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 230px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5596668457887698386" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OLIkpcrAlfY/TatcT14HjdI/AAAAAAAAAk8/_2k12RR-rX8/s320/easter%2Btilda2.JPG" /></a> Hello. Hope everyone had a great week. I finally had some time to make something. It feels like ages since I put a card together. Where does the time go? <a href="http://magnolia-licioushighlites.blogspot.com/2011/03/easter-spring-extravaganza-contest.html">Magnolia-licious Highlites </a>is having an Easter/Spring Extravaganza Contest. There's three categories you can enter in. I made this for the "Anything but a Card" category. The challenge at <a href="http://magnoliadownunderchallenges.blogspot.com/">Magnolia Down Under </a>is Shabby Chic and inspired me to go in that direction for embellishing the bird house.</div><br /><div></div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5590828883470347554" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-H6pZPoE_-Sc/TZadP38-bSI/AAAAAAAAAkM/-xL06RozXho/s320/Birdhouse1.JPG" /> <br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div>I used the Serenade cartridge on my cricut to make the birdhouse. Used Tim Holtz Distress Paint to give it a shabby feel. The flowers are some cotton seam binding that I colored with some Tattered Angels Mist and sewed. The butterfly is a Marianne's Creatables die and the Love word was made from my Sweethearts Cricut cartridge. And of course, Tilda is sitting inside with her lovely flowers.</div><br /><div></div><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5590828593786987026" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tlTP8UCToqg/TZac_AzFIhI/AAAAAAAAAkE/JDOp4R874jk/s320/Birdhouse3.JPG" /></div><br /><div></div><br /><div>The crinkled ribbon was purchased at <a href="http://shop.pixiedustpaperie.com/logout.sc">Pixie Paper Perfections</a>. Two quick posts for today. I managed to get a couple cards done on Sunday. I've been so eager to use these two stamps together and I thought they would be perfect for this week's challenge over at <a href="http://simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2011/02/simon-says-coffee-and-cream.html">Simon Says Stamp</a>, which is Coffee and Cream. </div><div> </div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 305px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5578923336091909938" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TVH0Pph8xdM/TWxRNzzlPzI/AAAAAAAAAjc/6Ujb0OeHkrI/s320/tilda%2Beiffel2.JPG" /> There's no sentiment yet. I'll add it later when I have someone to give the card to. I used Copics to color the image (E40 - E49) and then added Antique Linen and Tea Dye DI's around the image. The flower was made from ribbon and glued to a circle with a button embelishment. I went to AC Moore and was so excited to see they had the Tim Holtz film strip and thought it would be perfect for this card. The ticket is also from TH. The papers are from MME's Paris collection. <div></div><div></div><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 278px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5578923058400047618" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kucM_bDHmHk/TWxQ9pUrsgI/AAAAAAAAAjU/MUiYhTH4LeU/s320/tilda%2Beiffel3.JPG" /></div>Thanks for stopping by. </div><div> </div><div>Other Challenges:</div><div><a href="http://magnoliastamplovers.blogspot.com/">Magnolia Stamp Lovers</a> - Buttons and Bling</div><div><a href="http://stampinfortheweekend.blogspot.com/">Stamping For The Weekend</a> - Monochrome<br /><a href="http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/2011/02/something-with-flowers-challenge.html">Stamp Something</a> - Something with Flowers</div><div> </div><div></div>Robynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12874985579317077781noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7205217420326550197.post-54027282731048567462011-02-23T10:19:00.005-05:002011-02-23T10:41:03.413-05:00Dangling Edwing Birthday Wishes<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-QRG4rInH5WA/TWUnH2UkVCI/AAAAAAAAAjM/Ekp1hru2ktI/s1600/Billy%2BBirthday1.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 282px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576906729362576418" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-QRG4rInH5WA/TWUnH2UkVCI/AAAAAAAAAjM/Ekp1hru2ktI/s320/Billy%2BBirthday1.JPG" /></a><br /><div>Hello again. Here's my second post for today. It was my son's birthday on Sunday (I can't believe my baby is 20 years old!!!) He humors me when I make him cutesy type cards. I think the Bon Voyage collection from Magnolia is one of my favorites so far, although it's really hard to have a favorite when they're all so darn cute.</div><br /><br /><div>When I say the "I can believe I can Fly" sentiment stamp, I just had to have it. My son's favorite movie as child was Space Jam and that was the main song from the movie. Two quick posts today. This is the first card I have to share with you. My daughter needed a birthday card for her boyfriends mother, so I had this one colored already and put together this card for her. I even dusted off the sewing maching and stitched around the edges. I have two projects to share today. The first is a tag for a gift my daughter is giving for Valentine's Day. Well...as I mentioned in my last post, I'm addicted to all things Magnolia now. It's been like Christmas at my house all over again. Except all the gifts have been for me...hee hee! After being laid off for over two years and then having to work two jobs, I've been blessed with getting my old job back...YEAH!!!! And my DH said to celebrate it, I could spend my first paycheck on myself. So....I treated myself to a whole bunch of Magnolia stamps and some Doo Hickeys too. <div><div><div><div><div><div></div><div><br /><div></div><div>Since I now have weekends off again, I spent it making my Valentine's Day cards. I also tried some new things. This card being one of them. It's a tealight card but I'm going to put some candy in it instead.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The challenge at <a href="http://magnolia-licioushighlites.blogspot.com/">Magnolialicious Highlites </a>is Hearts, Pink, White and Silver. The image is Tilda Blowing Hearts. I colored her with Copics and added some stickles on her wings and the leaves and swirls. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I'm also entering this in the <a href="http://magnoliadownunderchallenges.blogspot.com/">Magnolia Down Under</a> challenge, whose theme is Love and the <a href="http://magnoliastamplovers.blogspot.com/">Magnolia Stamp Lovers </a>theme of Glitter.</div><br /><div></div><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 309px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571508705585409442" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_J8Kv0yefH2o/TVH5pgtqLaI/AAAAAAAAAgs/qSpHrBqDKsA/s320/tilda%2Bblowing%2Bhearts.jpg" /></div><br /><div></div><div></div><div></div><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 310px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571507971385161970" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_J8Kv0yefH2o/TVH4-xmrePI/AAAAAAAAAgk/laJlJrmJ664/s320/tilda%2Bblowing%2Bhearts4.JPG" /><br /></div><br /><div></div><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 210px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571507186759610754" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_J8Kv0yefH2o/TVH4RGpXsYI/AAAAAAAAAgU/kn2jlwekKGk/s320/tilda%2Bblowing%2Bhearts3.JPG" /></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><br /><p>Hope you like it. I've been dying to get the Vintage Tag DooHickey die from Magnolia for quite some time now. I finally gave in and order it along with those darling angel wings too. I've already placed several orders (and a small fortune too...LOL) for a whole lot more.</div><br /><div>This stamp is from the new "You're So Special" line and is called King Tilda. I thought it would be perfect my cousin's little princess who was celebrating her third birthday this past Sunday. I colored her with Copics and added some stickles. The papers are from My Mind's Eye and the lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts. </div><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 319px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566351078388774338" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_J8Kv0yefH2o/TT-m0GJ5tcI/AAAAAAAAAfs/VYB_Plas83Y/s320/Card%2BBox.JPG" /><br /><div></div><div>I also made a gift box to put the card in using kraft paper that I stamped some dots and swirls on.</div><br /><div></div><div>Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by. </div></div></div></div></div>Robynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12874985579317077781noreply@blogger.com5
