More Winter Wishes

One more card to share with you today. This cutie is Tilda with skates. I just loved all the new stamps form the Sweet Christmas Wishes collection. I ordered several of them and only managed to color up this one.


These cute ice skates are a die from Quickutz. The large snowflake is from Sizzix.

I am entering this in the Winter Wonderland challenge over at Magnolia Stamp Lovers.

Winter Wishes

Winter wishes to you all! Hopefully the holidays brought you all some wonderful memories with family and friends.
It's been so long since my last post. Unfortunately we have had a rash of bad luck in our home and time has seem to gotten away from me. Before I knew it the holiday was upon me and I somehow managed to get a few cards done.

I made a shaker card with this cutie Tilda with Fir stamp from Magnolia, along with the tree stamp in the background.

The snowflakes are Quickutz die with pearl brads. Unfortunately the picture doesn't show all the glitter.

More Sneak Peeks for The Stamping Boutique

Hello again. I'm back with two more sneak peek cards for The Stamping Boutique's new releases on September 18th. The first one is the Ice Princess image. I colored her with copics and added some white and silver stickles for a little glam. The edges were distressed with weathered wood TH distress inks and the snowflake is a Quickutz die that I added some glitter to.

The second card is this darling gingerbread man image. For this image, I colored it with prisma pencils and OMS. Again, I added some stickles and foam dots to make the image stand out. The snowflake border punch is from Fiskars.

This Week's Challenge at Bella Digi Studio

Happy Monday everyone!! Hope you all had a fabulous holiday weekend. Monday brings us another weekly challenge over at Bella Digi Studio. The focus for this week's challenge is to use chalks. Now, I've never used chalks before and just happened to have a sample of the Colorbox Chalk I received with one of orders from Creative Play Stamps (they always throw in a little freebie everytime I've ordered from them). Tammylee over at the Bella Digi Studio Challenge blog has a wonderful tutorial on using chalks to color your images. Unfortunately I had to work all weekend and my card creating time was very limited. So, I wasn't as creative and only used the chalk around the edges of my paper and images. The image I used is Daisy - in Pigtails and Tutu from the Little Bits collection. She's just so sweet sitting on her mushroom. The sentiment is also from Bella Digi Studio. The butterflies were made with my Quickcutz die.

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #16

The challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's this week is to make your own flowers. One of of friends daughter had her 8th grade graduation this weekend, so I used one of her graduation girl images. Colored her with copics. The paper flowers were cut out with my cricut and assembled using Tim Holtz grunge flower tutorial. I made a card box to go with the card. I just got some distress stickles and thought I would give them a try around the sentiment on the box but was not very happy with it. It comes out very thick. Need to play with it some more. Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #13

Another post today. I've been playing all morning. This week's theme for Sassy Cheryl's challenge is "Punches". I used my Martha Stewart punch for the layered scallops and my Quickutz corners die and butterfly die punches for embellishments. The image is Sweet Pea and colored with copics.
