Dangling Edwing Birthday Wishes

Hello again. Here's my second post for today. It was my son's birthday on Sunday (I can't believe my baby is 20 years old!!!) He humors me when I make him cutesy type cards. I think the Bon Voyage collection from Magnolia is one of my favorites so far, although it's really hard to have a favorite when they're all so darn cute.

When I say the "I can believe I can Fly" sentiment stamp, I just had to have it. My son's favorite movie as child was Space Jam and that was the main song from the movie. He used to sing it to me all the time.

Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by.

A Bella Recipe

Happy Monday! It's time for another challenge over at Bella Digi Studio. This week's challenge is a recipe created by the talented Jana.

Recipe:

3 patterned papers (one can be embossed)

2 embellishments

1 image

1 sentiment

The weather has taken a nice change for the cooler here in Philly and I'm looking forward to fall. So I thought I'd make an autumn card. I used the Gherkin Sprite image from the Little Wings collection and stamped some leaves around the edge. The papers are from My Mind's Eye - Bloom and Grow collection, along with some brown craft paper. I added some distress crackle paint in picket fence around the edges of some the pieces and the flower.

Thanks for stopping by. Please stop over at the challenge blog to see what lovely cards the rest of the DT has made and leave 'em some love.

Bella Digi Studio Challenge #6

Happy Monday! Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. It's time for the Monday challenge over at Bella Digi Studio. I have the honor of being this week's challenge boss and chose to use distressing as the theme for this week's challenge. I used the Dee-Dee image from the Little Loves collection and the sentiment is from the Gimme a Hug collection. She's colored with Copics. I used distress inks on all the edges. The flowers are from Wild Orchids. The paper is from K&C Company. I also used DCWV cardstock and craft paper and the leaves were made with a MS punch.

Please go check out what the rest of the Digital Divas have created over at the challenge blog and leave them some love.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs - Robyn

The Stamping Boutique Blog Hop

Welcome! Thanks for joining us for the Stamping Boutique's blog hop. If you're coming here from Michele's page, then your on the right path. If not, please go back to beginning. You won't want to miss all of the wonderful talent on previous pages. The blog order is listed below.

Our theme is sewing and uses the fabulous Cynthia's New Wings image from the Stamping Boutique's Fairy Cynthia line. I colored her with copics and added both spun sugar and vintage photo distress ink. I sewed around each of the edges for the DP and also distressed them with vintage photo. I used Perfect Pearls for the tops of pins and by the wings. The heart punch is from Martha Stewart and the sentiment inside is a freebie from Ginger's House. The With Love ticket is also a freebie from The 80's Me.

Thanks for stopping by. Your next stop on the hop is Donna.

Michelle Perkett Design Challenge #29

It's a beautiful Saturday here in Philly, so I've decided to ignore the mess my children have made in the house and work on some cards. This week's challenge over at Michelle Perkett's is to do some distressing. I chose her lovely Amore Fairy image and colored her with copics and distressed it with Tim Holtz distress ink. I created an easel card and added a layer of purple cardstock, which I crumpled up and inked around the edges, then tore the edges of the pattern paper on top of that. The flowers were cut with my cricut and inked with Tim Holtz distress inks and misted with water, then scrunched up and dryed with my hair dryer. The leaves were also cut with my cricut and inked. And finally a touch of glitter for the flowers and leaves. I'm also entering this in a few other challenges. Hope you enjoyed. Have a great weekend!!
