A Daughter's First Love

I'm a little late posting this. I just started working again and it's been non-stop since last Wednesday. Unfortunately I did not get to spend the day with my DH but my kids did. I made this for my daughter to give her father and it's so fitting since she's always taken after her father and tries to be just like him. Not to mention she's the spitting image of him (just prettier...lol). It also goes along with this week's challenge over at Tiddly Inks. I just love that Christy and her images! The challenge is to use embellishments...lace and/or buttons. For my lace, I actually used a stamp and then embossed it with distress inks embossing powder. I am just loving this stuff. I made the flowers and used a MS punch and one of the new Tim Holtz Sizzix punches for the right side of the card. Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hi Robyn! This is such a sweet card for your daughter to give to Daddy! The verse is perfect! Those roses are beautiful and I love the way you did the lace without actually using lace! Gorgeous coloring as always!!
